The State of your Nervous system!!!!
The state of your nervous system will profoundly influence the contents of your thoughts.
Fight energy can sometimes skew how we see people - especially online where we can't see their face or hear the tone of their words.
Of course if someone was overstepping a boundary anger would be healthy, but sometimes anger from being triggered means we're not so rational or good at seeing things as they are.
When we've moved in to fight, flight or freeze it can be hard to see the big picture and this can lead to suffering.
Recognising how each state will change how you view people, environments & situations stops you rushing into things, becoming reactive & doing things you later regret.
It also stops you putting things off for days & weeks that may not be as bad as what your nervous system has you believe.
You' re empowered when you can take care of the needs of your nervous system & autonomously regulate it to the place where you make your best decisions.
When you' re triggered into either fight, flight or freeze you lose access to the parts of your brain where innovation, flow & creativity happen.
When you come home to the ventral vagal state you see life with without all the filters & noise, it helps you to see situations as they really are.
Differentiating between old triggers, wounds & urges that move you into fight, flight or freeze & those sensations that can bring an inner security & trust, help you live a life congruent with your values.
Your relationships will improve, you do your best work & you can live without the extreme ups and downs.
You'll find greater flow & ease.
